AGRICULTURE COUNCIL OF KENYA

The Agriculture Council of Kenya is a new organization formed last year out of the realization that the private sector did not have an agricultural apex body. This brought various stakeholders in agreement to create one agricultural body for the country. AgCK’s overall goal is to improve Kenya’s agricultural contribution to socio-economic development and provide an opportunity for sector stakeholders to effectively engage in agricultural development.  Africa Lead Contracted Admedia  to support the East and Southern Africa communications team to develop a 5-7 minute video about Africa Lead’s work with Agricultural Council of Kenya to build a representative voice across various agriculture stakeholders (Academia, Research, Policy, youth Commodities and processors). This will entail interviewing persons from across various value chains ranging from cotton, sugar cane, pyrethrum, beef, fish, coffee, tea and potatoes.
